Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the year 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. Another notable character she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned an impact as an accomplished director on several well-known television series including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
