Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. Beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. Later on she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. She was noticed in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women at the box office in history. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
